General Event Rules

5.1. Participation

The competition will be held in a team format of three people, in the categories, levels and divisions officially announced by the organiser.

5.2. Check-in

All athletes must present themselves within the official registration window with any required documentation.

5.3. Briefing and Schedule

Participants are required to attend the official briefing and respect warm-up, call-up and start times. Failure to appear within the established time window may result in loss of turn or disqualification.

5.4. Judges and Validations

Repetitions, times, no-reps, standards and technical decisions will be determined by the judges appointed by the organiser and, where applicable, by the head judge.

5.5. Sporting Complaints

All complaints must be submitted through the channel, format and deadline established by the organiser. Complaints submitted outside the time limit or based purely on disagreement without regulatory grounds will not be accepted.

5.6. Athlete Safety

Participants must at all times follow instructions from staff, judges and safety officers, and use equipment and designated spaces correctly. The organiser may prevent an athlete or team from competing if an objectively dangerous situation, reckless conduct or serious breach of safety rules is observed.

5.7. Inherent Risks and Injuries

Participation in Street Lifting Games Tenerife involves intense physical effort and acceptance of the normal risks inherent in a competition of this nature. The participant declares that they are participating voluntarily, that they are in suitable physical condition to compete, and that they commit to following staff and judges' instructions at all times.

The organiser will not be liable for injuries or damages arising exclusively from inherent sporting risks correctly managed, provided there is no action or omission attributable to the organiser, its staff, the setup, materials provided by the organiser or facilities under its safety responsibility.

5.8. Disqualification

Any athlete or team may be disqualified for:

  • fraud or impersonation;
  • unsportsmanlike conduct;
  • assault or serious disrespect;
  • disobedience towards staff or judges;
  • unauthorised use of aids or materials;
  • conduct that compromises the safety of the event or third parties.

5.9. Acceptance of Rules

Registration implies full acceptance of these rules.
